Police arrested three persons with guns and its bullets from Abu Khaireni in Tanahun on Monday morning.
Based on a tip-off, police arrested Abhiyan Shrestha, Jaya Gurung and Bijay Gurung with four 9mm pistols, its 39 bullets and 48 bullets of assault weapons.
Police spokesperson Manoj Neupane said the arrested have been kept on custody for further investigation. "We are investigating the motive behind carrying such a huge cache of ammunition," said Neupane.
