An unidentified group has torched a vehicle of Kailali constituency-2 'A' left alliance provincial candidate Ratan Thapa.
The vehicle (Na 16 Cha 6899), parked at the garage of Thapa's house in Lamkichuha Municipality, was vandalised and torched by the group on Wednesday night, informed Area Police Office, Lamki.
The front part of the vehicle has sustained damages in the vandalism. Thapa was using the vehicle for election campaigning.
Inspector at Area Police Office, Lamki, Nain Bahadur Saud said police are searching for the vandals.
