Police on Thursday arrested nine cadres of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) led by Netra Bikram Chand.
A team deployed from District Police Office arrested the cadres on the charge of conducting anti-elections activities.
Police stated that they arrested three CPN cadres on Wednesday and six more prior to that.
District Police Chief Rajendra Pokhrel said police are keeping a close tabs on other CPN cadres based in the district.
