Police have arrested five cadres of Netra Bikram Chand led Nepal Communist Party (NCP) from Syangja district on Wednesday.
The district police office informed that the NCP cadres were arrested for carrying out activities against the election from their house and public places following a special tip-off.
According to District Police Spokesperson DSP Prakash Bista, the arrested are Raju Poudel, 41 of Waling Municipality-6, Durga Bahadur Thapa, 41, Dhruva Gaudel, 26, of 13 Bayatari, Sher Bahadur Thapa, 60, of Bhirkot Municipality-1 and Thaneshwor KC of Putali Bazar Municipality-13.
All the arrested are members of NCP.
