A Japanese tourist was found dead in a hotel at Khumbu region of Solukhumbu district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Akemi Augurey of Japan.
Augurey, who had gone to bed the previous night after dinner, did not wake up this morning. Later it was found that he had died, police said.
Augurey was staying at Snowland Hotel in Gorakse of Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-4 in Solukhumbu district.
