A team of Nepali Army (NA) has defused a bomb found near Haripur Bazaar in Gajura Municipality-5, Rautahat on Monday.

A bomb disposal team from the Gaur-based Indra Box Battalion defused the IED after an effort of more than four hours.

Chief of the Battalion Sujan Shakya said the locally made powerful bomb took relatively more time for the disposal team to neutralise.

This is the second incident of bomb found in Rautahat district.
