A landmine explosion injured four members of election publicity team of Nepali Congress leader Ram Sharan Mahat at Daandagaun Sigarechaur in Kakani Rural Municipality-5 on Friday.
District Police Office DSP Madhukar Jung Bista informed that a landmine exploded damaging the vehicle, Ba 16 Cha 665, and injuring four members of Mahat's election campaign team at around 10 am this morning.
The police have informed that search is underway for persons involved in the incident.
