Left alliance for stability, development: Dahal

Though the constitution was promulgated despite political instability, the development work and economy has been on the back burner, Dahal said while inaugurating the fourth National Trade Fair and Agriculture and Tourism Promotion Festival in Butwal on Thursday.
“There is no government which has ruled the country for a complete five-year term in the past 70 years,” Chairman Dahal said.
He said the only objective of the left alliance is to rule the country for the next five years and bring revolutionary changes in the country’s development, economic situation, industries and business sector.
“The left alliance was formed with an objective to rule the country for five years and to take the country towards the benchmark of Asian nations,” he said, adding, “The victory of left alliance is essential to bring revolutionary changes in development.”
As Nepal is situated between two rising economic giants China and India, the former Prime Minister said that the objective of the left alliance is to reap the benefit from these two countries.
Saying the need of the hour is economic development and prosperity, the Maoist chairman said that everyone should lend their support for the same.
