A new mother, who was suffering from postpartum bleeding, was airlifted to Nepalgunj on Sunday at the initiative of a poll candidate in Jajarkot district.
Rajiv Bikram Shah, who is contesting for the federal parliament from Jajarkot in the upcoming elections, chartered a helicopter to rescue Chandra Devi Roka of Rijapahad in Kushe Rural Municipality-8.
Roka’s house is about 10 hours walk from the nearest road. (PR)
