Bista also warned that he will move ahead with legal proceedings if Yadav did not leave the house within the given deadline.
The former President has been living at the house of Bista in Bagdol, Lalitpur, since October 19, 2015.
Issuing a public notice in the name of Yadav’s Secretariat and the President’s Office in a national newspaper on Monday morning, Bista urged Yadav to vacate the house.
In the notice, Bista said that though the rental agreement had expired in mid-July, the government has neither renewed the agreement nor paid the house rent yet.
Earlier, the government led by CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli had assured Yadav that the government would make all necessary arrangements to provide him dignified perks and facilities.
Earlier on June 18, 2016, Bista had moved the Lalitpur District Court seeking payment of rent and utility bills of the house.
In the petition, Bista had urged Yadav to leave the house as he wanted to use the house for himself.
The former general secretary of Nepali Congress, Yadav was elected the first president of Nepal on July 21, 2008 after the first Constituent Assembly election. He held the office for seven years and three months.
