A fresh earthquake of local magnitude 4.5 was recorded at 8:45 pm in Bajhang distrtict on Monday.
According to the National Seismological Centre (NSC), the epicenter of the quake was close to Kanda of the district.
The coordinates of the centre are 29.78 ºN and 81. 28 ºE.
Before this, an earthquake of local magnitude 4.0 was recorded in Achham on October 26.
The NSC said this is not an aftershock of the Gorkha earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25, 2015, but a new one.
