Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has said the upcoming federal and provincial polls are the occasions to celebrate democracy, calling on everyone to make them successful.
Inaugurating the Nepal Poultry and Livestock International Exhibition in Bharatpur, Chitwan on Friday, Pun asked the people to choose a political party on the basis of their agendas.
On the occasion, the Vice President urged the government, political parties and other stakeholders to make the polls free, fair and peaceful.
“I am confident that, like earlier elections, the upcoming federal and provincial elections will be conducted in an enthusiastic manner,” he said. (PR)
