Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has said that the upcoming federal and provincial polls are the occasions for grand celebration and called on everyone to make them successful.

Speaking at the ongoing Nepal Poultry and Livestock International Exhibition in Bharatpur, Chitwan on Friday, Vice President Pun said that all political parties have presented their agendas to the people.

On the occasion, the Vice President drew the attention of government, political parties and other stake holders to conduct the upcoming polls in a free, fair and peaceful manner. “I am confident that like the earlier election the upcoming federal and provincial polls will also be conducted in an enthusiastic manner,” he said, adding that the constitution implementation process will be completed after the polls.

Likewise, Vice President Pun urged all the voters to exercise their voting rights saying that voters are the decisive force of election. He said Chitwan is a district with a lot of potentials. “Perhaps Chitwan will get a dynamic leadership and vital person of this nation. The people of this district got the chance to vote for him. I think the future of Chitwan is bright,” said Pun, hinting at CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
