NC leader Paudel files complaint against Joshi’s nomination

Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader and candidate of Tanahun constituency-1 has filed a complaint at the office of election officer against former Home Minister and NC leader Govinda Raj Joshi, who had filed his candidacy as an independent candidate from the same constituency, on Friday.
Leader Paudel reached the office at 4:30 pm and filed the complaint arguing that Joshi’s nomination is against the law.
Paudel has demanded annulment of Joshi’s nomination.
The special court had convicted Joshi in the corruption case on July 25, 2012 and fined Rs 43.2 million and sentenced to one-and-a-half year in prison.

Meanwhile, Joshi claimed that he had filed his nomination as per the law.
