CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has filed his nomination from Jhapa constituency-5 for the parliamentary elections.
Oli registered his nomination at Election Office stationed at District Postal Office in Jhapa district headquarters, Bhadrapur at around 2:30 pm today. He went to file his nomination along with party cadres from Damak. Damak municipality deputy chairman Lok Bahadur Adhikari proposed Oli’s candidacy and eastern regional chairman Netra Prasad Dahal seconded his nomination.
Along with Oli, Hikmat Karki and Arjun Rai have filed nominations for provincial assembly under Jhapa constituency-5 from ‘Ka’ and ‘Kha’ respectively.
