A man was killed after being hit by a passenger bus at Belbari-10 in the district along the East-West Highway on Tuesday.
Lok Bahadur Shrestha, 44, of Kamal rural municipality-5 in Jhapa died today morning in the course of treatment at Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar, Inspector Ramji Katuwal said.
Inspector Katuwal further informed that Shrestha was walking on the road when he was knocked down by a passenger east-bound bus (Na 6 Kha 7219) on Monday.
The police have taken the driver Bir Bahadur Lama and bus under control. RSS
