President Bidya Devi Bhandari is going to visit the birthplace of her late husband, Madan Bhandari, at Dhungesanghu in Taplejung district on Friday.
President Bhandari will be offering prayers at Pathibhara before participating in a civic felicitation programme.
Likewise, the head-of-the-state will also take stock of Kanchenjunga Conservation Area in district headquarters Fuling after which she will take lunch at the Nepal Army barrack and head for Dhungesanghu, informed Chief District Officer Mohan GC.
The president will return back after visiting her husband’s birthplace today itself.
