The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) team on Tuesday arrested three people in possession of banned pangolin scales at Adamghat of Dhading.
Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) at Dhading District Police Office, Ram Bahadur KC informed that the bureau team seized the scales of endangered species, pangolin, while being smuggled for money-making.
The arrested are Jhanka Bahadur Adhikari, Bhim Bahadur Pandit and Ramji Bhujel of Gajuri rural municipality-7.
Police informed that a case will be filed against the arrested ones as per the Wildlife Protection Act. RSS
