Two persons have gone missing in the Karnali River from nearby Chisapani of Dhangadhi district on Monday.
Chakra Dhamala, 14, and 10-year-old Sharmila Dhamala of Lamki Chuha Municipality have disappeared in the river, Bir Bahadur Budha Magar, the spokesperson of District Police Office, Kailali said.
It is said that the picnic goers went missing while swimming on the bank of river. Search for the disappeared children is on, police said.
A couple of weeks ago, two persons had also drowned while taking a bath in the same river.
