A man died while eight others were injured when a jeep met with an accident at Jagaat in Sandhikharka Municipality in Arghakhanchi district on Monday.
The incident took place when the Butwal-bound jeep, Lu 1 Cha 6766, coming from Gulmi district plunged some 100 metres off the road near the Jagat Dadh River, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Ek Narayan Koirala.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be established while the injured ones are receiving treatment at a health facility in Sandhikharka, according to the District Police Office, Arghakhanchi.
