A person was stabbed to death in Sajkhutti of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-13 in Dang on Saturday night.
According to Area Police Office Tulsipur, local Basanta Bahadur Mahatara, 33, attacked Setiram Reule, 34, with knife and killed, while another 20-year-old girl also sustained injuries in the attack.
Reule was attacked while playing Deusi at local Lila Bahadur BK’s house. Critically injured Reule was rushed to Tulsipur-based Rapti Zonal Hospital, where he was declared dead, police said.
Police have arrested Mahatar and started investigation into the incident.
