A herd of wild elephants has damaged two houses at Beldangi rural municipality-1 in Kanchanpur district on Thursday night.
The wild elephants,entered to the settlement from Shuklaphanta National Park, damaged houses of local Gagan Singh Mahar and Man Bahadur Okheda and ate all food grains kept inside the houses.
They have been compelled to take shelter at neighbour's houses. The neighbours have started initiative to collect food grains and financial support as the financial condition of both families is very poor. RSS
