Two persons died in separate road accidents in Sunsari district on Thursday night.
The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Mustak Miya, 50, and Mukesh Chaudhary of Inaruwa Municipality-8.
Miya died when a truck with an Indian number plate (BR 07 8115) heading towards west from east hit him at Koshi rural municipality-8, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Narayan Prasad Chimariya. Police have impounded the truck.
Similarly, Chaudhary died when a motorcycle (Ko 31 Pa 6809) heading towards Itahari from Inaruwa collided with the truck (Na 5 Kha 511). Chaudhary was the motorcyclist.
Chaudhary died while receiving treatment at District Hospital, Inaruwa. Police have arrested the truck driver and impounded the vehicle. RSS
