Two persons died when a motorbike they were riding on rammed into a parked truck at Kawasoti-16 in Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as Prakash Mahato, 20, and Anil Mahato of Madhyabindu Municipality-6.

Critically injured in the incident, Prakash and Anil breathed their last during the course of treatment at the Bharatpur Medical College.

The two-wheeler (Na 43 Pa) hit the parked truck (Na 6 Kha 1653) this morning.
