Two passengers were killed and 15 others injured critically when two buses collided head-on at Jorayal Rural Municipality-1 along the Bhimdutta Highway in Doti district.
The deceased are 80-year old Drapauti Bhandari of Dehimandu and 14-year old Bikram Bohora of Parshuram Municipality.
The bus (Na 4 Kha 6856) heading to Jogbuda from Dadeldhura headquarters collided with another bus (Na 5 Kha 6081) coming from the opposite direction at the place.
Police said the identity of other 24 injured is yet to be confirmed. Gaura police post in-charge, Assistant Inspector Ganesh Bahadur Chand said that among the injured, some are being treated in Dhangadhi and some in Dadeldhura based hospitals.
