As many as 28 persons were injured when a bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality in Nawalparasi district along the East-West Highway on Saturday.

The incident occurred when the bus (Na 5 Kha 3964) heading towards Kathmandu from Nepalgunj skidded off the road and fell some 30 metres down.

According to the Area Police Office, Dumkibas, all the injured are being treated at Bharatpur in Chitwan. RSS
