A man has been electrocuted in Thakurbaba municipality of Bardia as the truck he was travelling in happened to touch live power cable.
Baliram Tharu,20, of Bansgadhi municipality-3 was heading to Pokhara in the truck (Na. 3 Kha. 5488) when the incident took place. Tharu, who was injured in the incident, died during treatment at the Kohalpur Medical College, according to District Police Office, Bardia.
A second person also in the truck, Arjun Tharu of the same locality was injured in the incident and is undergoing treatment. The truck has been impounded while its driver has been taken into custody for necessary action, police said. RSS
