An unclaimed newborn kid was found alive on a field in Khadbari Municipality-1 of Sankhuwasabha district.

Locals had found the newly born child on a field at Phulpati in the municipality and immediately contacted the police about it.

A team from District Police Office rescued and took the child to district hospital. Doctors said the child was doing fine and in good health condition.

Police has begun searching for the child's mother. The child has been kept at district hospital in Khadbari.
