Seventeen people have died of influenza virus so far.
According to the Division of Epidemiology and Disease Control, out of 3,101 patients, who underwent check up till October, 1,291 people were found suffering from the influenza virus.
Of them, 17 lost their lives due to virus.
A total of 806 people suffered from H1N1 of Influenza virus type A in the month of mid-July to mid September.
Division Director Dr Bhim Acharya said that all should be alert about the disease as it could spread at any time.
