CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that his party is like the Indian Ocean.

“Different rivers merge into the Indian Ocean,” Oli said while referring to the recently formed electoral alliance among the leftist forces.

“Among them, some are polluted rivers and many of them are dirty, but when they combine in the ocean they become crystal clear,” he said.

During a meeting with the representatives of NRNA and Non Residential Nepali Forum at his residence in Balkot, Bhaktapur, on Wednesday, the unification among the leftist forces, which had led many movements in the country in the past, has created havoc in the country.

Moreover, former Prime Minister Oli called on Nepalis living in foreign land to support his party’s mega campaign to develop the country.

Similarly, UML senior leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal said that domestic and international forces have been shaken by the electoral alliance among the leftist parties.

“Leftist alliance is only for those who are in the country,” he said, adding, “Foreigners are also involved in the non-leftist alliance. Hence, it has a clear intention.”
