Two persons were injured after a cooking gas cylinder caught fire while fixing a leakage in the cylinder.
Pratigya Pandey and Bikash Nepali were injured in the inferno. They are receiving treatment at Gandaki Medical College in Pokhara. Pandey has been living as a tenant at the residence of Phatta Bahadur Pun.
According to police, Pandey had called Nepali to fix the leakage in the cooking gas cylinder.
DSP Khadga Bahadur Khatri said the gas regulator of the cylinder suddenly burst open and caught fire when Nepali pressed the regulator and told Pandey to light a fire.
Nepali sustained burn injuries in his face, hands and legs while Pandey sustained injuries in his neck and hands.
