The CPN-UML has unanimously recommended party Chairman KP Sharma Oli to contest the House of Representatives elections from Siraha constituency-1.
A UML regional committee meeting took a decision to this effect. Likewise, Rajendra Chaudhary and Ashok Yadav were proposed to run the State Assemblies elections from the province constituency-1 and 2 respectively. The elections are slated for November 26 and December 7 respectively.
Meanwhile, a fringe party Mulbasi Mukti has decided to contest the elections under UML's election symbol 'Sun'.
