Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) and Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) have agreed to contest the upcoming elections jointly.
The two Madhes-based parties have reached an agreement to field their common candidates for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly slated for November 26, and December 7.
“An agreement has been reached to field common candidates and to jointly forge electoral alliance with other political parties,” read a statement issued by Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Chairman Upendra Yadav and coordinator of RJPN presidium, Mahanta Thakur, on Friday.
