The alliance of 33 fringe parties has decided to contest the Parliamentary and Provincial elections under the electoral symbol of CPN (Maoist Centre), sickle and hammer inside circle.The alliance of 33 fringe parties has decided to contest the Parliamentary and Provincial elections under the electoral symbol of CPN (Maoist Centre), sickle and hammer inside circle.
The alliance made such decision after the CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre) on October 3 had decided to forge an electoral alliance in the upcoming elections and merge the parties.
Welcoming the decision of the two parties to forge the electoral alliance for the upcoming elections, Yubaraj Safal, Coordinator of the alliance, informed that the bloc would contest the elections with the electoral symbol of Maoist Centre and form electoral alliance.
He also appealed all the nationalist and communist forces to stand for forming a broader communist alliance.
Similarly, Samajbadi Janata Dal and Janajagaran Party Nepal have also decided to contest the elections under the electoral symbol of the Maoist Centre.
Prem Bahadur Singh-led Samajbadi Janata Dal and Lok Mani Dhakal-led Janajagaran Party have one member each in the Parliament.
