Coordinator of Naya Shakti Nepal Party Baburam Bhattarai has announced to contest in the upcoming elections with CPN-UML’s election symbol.
Leader Bhattarai said so during a programme organised to announce the electoral alliance between CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Centre) and Naya Shakti Nepal Party in the upcoming Parliamentary elections. The three parties have announced to forge electoral alliance and merge the parties immediately after the elections.
Bhattarai decided to contest the elections with UML’s election symbol as the Election Commission has not given a separate election symbol to his party.
Earlier, Bhattarai has announced to run in the Parliamentary election from Gorkha constitutency-2.
