A saw mill owner in Maulapur Municipality of Rautahat district was speared to death while asleep on Thursday night.

District Police Chief SP Yagya Binod Pokhrel informed Birendra Sah of Badharwa in Chandrapur Municipality was found dead near his mill.

Sah was speared to death while he was asleep under open sky near his saw mill, police suspected. They said initial investigation showed personal vendetta as the cause of the murder.

Police has arrested one person who was sleeping near Sah during the night of murder. The arrested person had said he knew nothing about the murder despite sleeping close to the deceased.
