Dhankuta
Industry Minister Sunil Bahadur Thapa has said that state-owned factories have poor performance due to lack of a clear national industrial policy.
At a news conference in Dhankuta on Saturday, Thapa said that the government was working to run the state-owned sick industries by introducing such a policy.
Saying that the new policy shall give emphasis on domestic production, Thapa added that cottage industries based on domestic raw materials and market management of the goods produced by such industries would be addressed in the policy.
Minister Thapa also said that citizens' 50 per cent share would be ensured in the industries that the government alone cannot run. RSS
