Vehicular movement along the Beni-Jomsom road section has been obstructed for the past three days due to a landslide at Kaprebhir.
Two excavators sent by the Road Division Office have been facing difficulties to remove debris from the road due to incessant rainfall and subsequent landslide.
As a result, passengers have been using alternative routes to reach their destinations.
“We have been facing difficulties to remove landslide debris due to torrential rainfall,” Indra Singh Sherchan, local supervisor of the Road Division Office said.
Meanwhile, taking advantage of the obstruction, vehicles have been charging high fares.
It has been learnt that farmers have been facing difficulties to transport the products to bazaar areas.
