Puthauttarganga Rural Municipality ward-7 Dalit woman member Bayansari Kami was found murdered at her house on Monday.

According to the police, Kami’s relatives informed them about the incident today morning saying that the recently elected 27-year-old ward member from Nepali Congress was likely killed on Sunday.

District Police Office Inspector Thamma Bahadur Rajali confirmed the homicide adding that the police have arrested Kami’s husband Tej Bahadur BK, 38, on suspicion of the murder as the incident took place at their home.

Inspector Rajali further informed that preliminary investigation showed that family dispute was the reason behind the incident.

Likewise, the local also backed the police claim saying that the husband-wife duo used to quarrel frequently.
