Four persons have gone missing when the flooded Tinau River swept away a jeep in Palpa district in the wee hours of Monday.
The missing persons have been identified as Tilbir Gaha, 40, of Mathagadhi-1, his wife Maya Gaha, 35, Padam Kunwar, 40, of Baganaskali Rural Municipality and Usha Shrestha, 28, of Tansen Municipality, according to the District Police Office, Palpa.
The incident took place when the four-wheeler (Lu 1 Ja 1217) was trying to cross the river at around 2:30 am today.
Police said that they have been facing problems to carry out search operation due to increasing water flow in the river. RSS
