A farmer died after he was struck by lightning at Aauri of Barbardiya-5, Bardiya district on Sunday.
According to SP Bharat Bahadur Bohara, local Shukla Tharu, 43, died on the spot when he was fatally struck by a lightening. The incident occurred when Tharu was working in his field.
The incident site is 22 km from the district headquarters.
