Two pedestrians were killed when they were hit by a passenger bus at Bhandara chowk in Chitwan's Rapti Municipality on Saturday.
The bus (Na 6 Kha 9011), en route to Hetauda from Narayangadh, hit Lal Bahadur Bomjan, 68, and Thulimaya Lepchan, 38, this afternoon.
Both critically injured in the accident were being taken to Bharatpur for further treatment when they breathed their last on the way.
The bus has been impounded and its driver arrested, said police.
