Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara, who is on a three-day official visit to India, held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi on Monday.
During the meeting, the duo discussed issues of mutual interests and strengthening bilateral relations between Nepal and India.
The CPN (Maoist Centre) leader had left for India to seek southern neighbour’s support for Nepal’s candidacy for the UN Human Rights Council in an election slated for November and to prepare the ground for the visit of Prime Minister Deuba to India possibly in July-end.
