Bus-Motorbike collision kills one, 30 injured

A five-year-old girl died and 30 others were injured when a Kathmandu-bound bus collided with a motorcycle at Pokharebesi in Sindhupalchok district on Sunday. Four injured are said to be in critical conditions.
Police identified the deceased as Sujata Nepali of Sangachokgadhi Municipality-13. She succumbed to the injuries at Dhulikhel Hospital. According to police, the bus (Ba 2 Kha 2702) and the motorcycle (Ba 64 Pa 3026) collided head on before falling nearly 15 metres below the road.
One of the injured was referred to B&B Hospital in Lalitpur while others are being treated at Dhulikhel Hospital and Sindhupalchok District Hospital, police said. (PR)
