A driver has gone missing after a tractor he was driving was swept away by Badkhola River in Putalibazar Municipality-1 in Syangja district.
Tractor driver Thagu Chaudhary was returning home by his tractor (Ga 1 Kha 3339) on Friday night after working in paddy field throughout the day. The tractor was swept away as it plunged into the rain-swollen river after hitting a culvert, police said.
DSP Bir Bahadur Pulami said police personnel have been searching for Chaudhary from early in the morning on Saturday.
