Raj Kumar Shrestha, an entrepreneur in Dang district who was kidnapped 21 days ago, has been found dead in a jungle on Friday.
Shrestha was on his way to Salyan district when he was kidnapped on the night of June 9 by an armed gang. Shrestha was the owner of Butwal Cloth Store in Tulsipur.
His body was found in the Jhimpe Renje Jungle of Chatreshwow Village Council in Salyan district.
According to SSP Gyan Bikram Shah, Chief at the Rapti Zonal Police Office, Shrestha’s body was found with the help of abductors who were arrested.
Police had announced cash prize of Rs 100,000 for providing information leading to the abducted businessman.
The whereabouts of Rana Bahadur Gharti, 28, of Hapur, Ghorahi, who was abducted along with Shrestha, has not been known yet.
