CPN (Maoist Centre) candidates have won election in Duikhola Rural Municipaity of Rolpa distirct.
CPN (MC)’s Nimkanta Dangi have been elected as chairman of Duikhola by securing 4608 votes while his nearest rival Nepali Congress candidate Jhakku Prasad Gharti got 1989 votes.
Similarly, CPN (MC)’s Hit Kumari Budamagar has been elected as vice chairperson by securing 4608 votes, her closest rival candidate from Nepali Congress Laxmi Dangi received 1899 votes.
The CPN (MC) has swept all seven wards of the Rural Municipality.
