Only two votes were cast at a voting centre of Sarawal Village Council-6 in Nawalparasi district. There are 502 registered voters in the ward.
Voters of Bhujhawa village boycotted the election saying that their village should have been included in ward-7 of the latest restructuring of local units.
According to election officer at Bhujhawa voting centre Leela Sharma, the voters at the ward boycotted the election in protest against their wish to include their village in ward-7 of the Sarawal Village Council.
