An explosive device went off near a polling station in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City.
The Improvised Explosive Device was detonated near 300 meter from Pratapkot polling station however, there was no casualties or injuries.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Loknath Timsina the explosion was done to terrorize the voters.
“We have further strengthened the security following the incident,” said Timsina chief of Area Police Post Tulsipur.
