Eighty-two-year-old Narendra Bhandari died during voting at Damak in Jhapa district.
Police said Bhandari had reached Sarswati Secondary School at around 7:30 this morning and was checking his name on the voters list when he collapsed and passed away.

Family sources said Bhandari was suffering from heart diseases. He was elected as ward member during the 2054 BS election from Damak-14.
